A glorious life began October 16, 1924 in Binghamton, New York with Frank and Sara Shafer. A graduate of Vestal Central High School and a member of the class of 1947 at Wilson School of Nursing, Johnson City, New York.
Ralph and Peg moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1967 where she became Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. After retireing, they relocated to The Fairways Country Club in Orlando, Florida, where golf and good friendships were enjoyed. After the hurricanes of 204, a home was made adjoining their daughter in Ocala, Florida.
Survivied and missed by her two daughters; Victoria Evans, Charlotte, NC and Audrey Frederick, Ocala, FL. and three grandchildren; Heather McNabb, Trevor Cross and Todd Cross.
A private service is being held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with interment immediately following on Wednesday November 7, 2012
