Marva was born in Valentine, Nebraska on October 21, 1947. Marva graduated from Valentine High School.
She was married to Melvin Grooms on April 30, 1966. Marva spent many of her years working in various family restaurant businesses and always reminisced about the fun times working with family.
Marva was always guided by her family and strong faith. Her passion was centered on spending time with family and most especially the Grandchildren. Her fondest memories were family dinners at the home of Alma Porath in Valentine.
Marva is survived by her children, Chad Grooms (wife, Sheila Grooms) and Todd Grooms. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Tristin Grooms, Louden Grooms, Abbigail Grooms, Kena Grooms, Anthony Connell, and her beloved Sister, Sandra Holley.
