

Mary graduated from Charleroi High School and went on to receive her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She dedicated her life to the care and comfort of others through a long and meaningful career in nursing. Mary worked in many hospitals in New Jersey, served at Woods Schools in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and later provided home health care in the Ocala, Florida area.
On September 6, 1952, Mary married Samuel J. DeCristoforo, with whom she shared a loving life and family. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved, and throughout her career she brought compassion, kindness, and devotion to her patients and their families. She was also a faithful member of St. Jude Parish in Marion Oaks, Florida
Mary is survived by her son, Alan DeCristoforo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Mary Ann Wilson of Levittown, Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her brother, Raymond Grigenrath and his wife, Jeanette, of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Howarth; and her son, Samuel D. DeCristoforo.
Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, her gentle spirit, and her lifelong dedication to caring for others. Her kindness and devotion touched countless lives, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
