Mary Ann Mac Murray

She married William MacMurray of Hoosick Falls on October 16, 1948. They were blessed with six children and Mary was so proud of her children. They are: Gail Salisbury (Bob) of Grafton, New York, John MacMurray (Vivian) of San Jose, California, Alan MacMurray (Wendy) of Ocala, Florida, Lori Wolfe (Don) of Auburn, California, Neil Mac Murray of Fort Myers, Florida and Gary MacMurray (Janelle) of Melrose, New York.

The family grew to include grandchildren: Kellie Wicklund (Jeff) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Stacy Lyons of Long Beach, California, Keith Harriman of Troy, New York, Kevin Lyons, Perry MacMurray and Ryan MacMurray of Ocala, Florida.

Several great-grandchildren include: Christian Harriman of Troy, New York, Griffin Wicklund of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Graham Wicklund also of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Liam Harriman of Troy, New York.

Mary was born in Bennington, Vermont on February 15, 1929. She was sister to Alice Reynolds (Henry), Lester Davis (Georgia) and Fred Davis (Marie) all of Bennington, Vermont.

Mary graduated from Troy Beauty School in 1956 and worked from home for 24 years as she was raising her family. Eventually she was employed by Northeast Field Facts of Crossgates Mall.

Mary relocated to North Fort Myers, Florida where she met her devoted companion, Phillip Bierhausen. They spent a blissful 20 years together.

Mary had a passion for tennis and played whenever possible. She was a regular at Lake George RV Park and took exotic trips to Africa, Alaska, Egypt, Costa Rica and China. She was an excellent cook.
