Mary C. Maloy

November 22, 1941 –July 12, 2026

Mary “Carol” Maloy passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and devotion to others.

Carol was born in DeFuniak Springs and lived as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She also worked as a nurse’s aide, where she compassionately cared for those in need. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, baking, gardening, and celebrating the holidays. Summers were especially meaningful, as they were spent making cherished memories with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Foster “Pete” Maloy; her father, Lloyd Casey; her mother, Lois Rabon ; her son, Gary Maloy; her daughters, Betty Carol Maloy and Mary-Kate Maloy Clark; her son, Foster Maloy Jr.; her grandson, Gary; and her siblings, Willis “Sonny” Casey

Carol is lovingly remembered by her son, Aubrey Lee Maloy; her grandchildren, Shasta, Sherry Dale, Brandy, Shandy, Jenna, Taylor, and Kathrine; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Turvin, Dennis Casey; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Carol’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
