Ocala-Mary R. Snell, 92, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014. She was born in New Milford, PA and moved to this area 30 years ago from Syracuse, NY. Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to watch football and baseball, especially Tim Tebow and the Yankees. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles Snell, her parents and her 2 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Bob Snell (Marcia) and Bill Snell (Ruth), 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3 pm with family to accept friends 1 hour prior to service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 5740 S Pine Ave., Ocala FL 34480. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Hospice of Marion County at 352-873-7400 in her name.
