Nicholas A Patsicostas

September 20th, 1943 - December 29th, 2015

Nick was born to Georgia Giannopoulos and Athanasios Patsiocostas in Aspropirgos, Prosou Euritania in Greece. Nick was the youngest of 5 silbings:

Survived by his two loving sisters, Agathe Kouvelis in Athens, Greece and Fotini Patsiocostas in Boston, MA. Preceded by (sister) Aristea & (brother) Bill.

Nick came to this country at the tender age of 13 on his own, leaving his family behind, in order to join his older brother seeking new opportunities in the United States. His life was a pure replica of the "American Dream". He was very bright and was awarded a soccer scholarship to college, served in the military, became an entrepreneur with his own successful car dealership in Ocala, FL. He also became passionate about breeding race horses and was an active member of FTBOA. He had a "heart of gold" which came out in all the ways he cared for his family, his friends, his animals and even strangers who he always tried to help. However, his greatest accomplishment was his family which was his pride and joy. Nick has 3 wonderful sons, Thanos (wife Sabrina), William (fiancée Dana) and Anthony (wife Tulsi), and 3 gorgeous grandchildren, Nicholas, Sebastian and Avni. His beloved Janet was also a special part of his life for many years; she preceded him in 2014.

Nick was a phenomenal human being who spread sunshine wherever he went! His smile and laughter would illuminate every room. He touched countless lives with his generosity and love. He is so deeply adored and loved by so many especially his family in Florida, Massachusetts and Greece.

Those of us who were honored to know him, will carry on his legacy, hopefully with the same integrity, humor and kindness that he possessed. We mourn the loss of this brilliant light today and know he is shining his light from up above.

Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at 11am at St. Mark's Greek Orthodox Church; 9926 SE 36th Ave, Belleview, FL 34420
