Pablo Lopez Rivera

With profound love and sadness, the family of Pablo López Rivera announces his passing on September 8, 2026.

Pablo was born on August 2, 1952, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, a place he proudly carried in his heart throughout his life. He was a hardworking, generous, and loving man with a big heart who was always willing to lend a helping hand. For Pablo, helping his family and friends was never an obligation—it was simply one of the many ways he showed his love.

Pablo shared nearly 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Judith Gómez. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, laughter, and countless memories that will forever be treasured.

He had a special passion for carpentry. His hands did much more than build and repair—they created, provided, and helped others with patience and care. Pablo also had a deep love for Puerto Rican music, which brought him great joy and was a reflection of the culture and island he loved so dearly.

Above all, Pablo loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. His greatest legacy is not only found in the things he built with his hands, but in the family he loved, the people he helped, and the lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.

Pablo is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Gómez; his children, Pablo López, Edmee Padilla, Liz López Lee, Desiree López, and Nathian López; his 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry his love, memories, and lessons with them.

He is also survived by his beloved brothers and sisters: Luz N. López, Benjamín López, Héctor López, Iván López, Arlene López, Ramón López, and Nilsa López, as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives were made better simply by knowing him.

Although his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, Pablo will remain with us in every story shared, every Puerto Rican song that brings back a memory, every creation made by hand, and every family gathering where his name is spoken with love.

Pablo built many things with his hands,

but his greatest masterpiece was the love he built within his family.

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480, US, on September 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
