

PATSY JANE BROWN (Jane). Beloved wife of Kent (Ken) Brown, passed away on Janurary 17, 2018 at the Age of 74, while at West Marion Community Hospital, Ocala, Florida. After a difficult battle with cancer.
Born in Tyronza, Arkansas October 25, 1943. Lived in Memphis, Tennessee, where she met Ken on a blind lunch date acompanied with Ken’s co-worker. It was love at first sight. They were married two years later on Nov 26, 1988. Jane became step-mom “Mom” to Ken’s three children from a previous marrage. Each living with us at different times.
She is survived by her husband Ken Brown, step children Allen Brown, Mandy Coffey, Scott Brown and 9 grand children. She is also survived by her brothers: Isaac McMullin, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Amory, MS and Larry McMullin (Carolyn) of Trumann, AR and her sisters: Wilma (Jen) Johnson of Haughton, LA and Myra (Kathy) Condra (Bobby) of Trumann, AR. Also, she is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Lela McMullin, her brothers: Glen and Bill, and a sister Juanita Germany.
Jane and Ken are members of The First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon, FL for many years.
Jane was an active volinteer at the Ranbow Springs State Park in Dunnellon, FL
Jane took training to be a nurse like her sisters, but decided that was not for her. A prior-member in toast masters. Jane always founds someone to talk to anywhere she went. Making many friends along the way. Jane worked as an Inside Sales Rep for U.S. Steel in Memphis, TN until they closed her department. Then as an event coordinator for International Paper, Memphis, TN. Where she retired.
Gardening and Sewing was Jane’s favorate hobbies along with taking walks along the beach and visiting the park she volunteered at. Her favorate travel destination was Ireland and any outlet mall.
Formal Services will be held in Memphis, TN at Memorial Park Cemetary at a future date.
