Raymond L. Lows, 82 of Ocala, FL passed away on Monday, Dec 15, 2014. Ray was born in DuQuoin, Ill and moved to Ocala 8 months ago from his native Illinois. Ray was a retired full Professor at Illinois State University, and served our country in the US Navy. Ray was a Co author and was a published author in a text book that is still used today. He was of the Baptist faith and taught sunday school, collected John Deere Merchandise and was an acomplished woodturner. Ray is survived by his devoted wife Suzanne of 56 years, son- Tim Lows of NC, daughter- Kim Lows of Texas, brother- Richard Lows of Texas, 2 sisters- Bonnie Livesay and Clara Simpson both of Ill and 4 grandchildren, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Westview Baptist Church , 2500 Sullivan Dr, Swansea, Ill 62226 in memory of Ray
