Resa and Donald Leslie had long, wonderful lives. Neither were fond of the idea of a funeral, but we could not let their lives go uncelebrated. This video for Resa Ruth Leslie is only a small glimpse of her, her married life, and the years following Don's passing. They were married just over 55 years when Dad passed in 2007. They had such fun together throwing parties with friends, traveling the world, helping to raise Haley and Cortney, and visiting family. At the time of her passing, Mom was peacefully accompanied by friends and family. This video could never cover all that was Resa; a strong, stoic woman, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a volunteer, and a friend. Still, it serves as a reminder of our own special memories of her and of Don, so that they may live on forever in our hearts.
Ms Resa "Res" (Lazere) Leslie, age 93, of Summerfield, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. Res was born September 30, 1927 in Sioux City, Iowa.
