Rita June Brown

Rita was born on October 8, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ronald S. Monroe and Lela (Durfee) Monroe-Spiert Lehman. She married Walter H. Brown on June 17, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio.

She is survived by two sons, David E. Brown of Tiffin, Ohio, and Frederick T. Brown of Weldon, New Brunswick, Canada; two daughters, Barbara A. Ferrentino of Ocala, Florida, and Rebecca R. Wyatt of Ocala, Florida; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter H. Brown, Sr.; two sons, Walter H. Brown, Jr. and Charles R. Brown; two daughters, Rita P. (Brown) Sullivan and Mary M. Brown; and three brothers, Roland Monroe, Norman Monroe, and Raymond Spiert.

Rita was a past member of the Red Hats Society of Tiffin, Ohio, a 4-H leader, and a Cub Scout leader. She was also associated with Blessed Trinity Elder Care.

There will be no visitation or services at this time. Interment will take place at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery in Clearwater, Florida.
