

Sally Ann Gummoe, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away at her home on June 21, 2026 at the age of 91. Born on September 17, 1934, in Syracuse, New York, Sally lived a life defined by devotion to her love of horses, and a deep appreciation for the traditions and people who enriched her life.
Sally was a graduate of Valley High School. On October 16, 1954, she married Donald Gager Gummoe, beginning a marriage filled with shared passion for horsemanship.
Sally and Don owned and operated the Pinto Post Ranch in Lafayette, New York. Sally shared her knowledge, encouragement, and love of horses with many. She was an active member of the Pinto and Paint Horse Associations and found great joy in Native American culture, attending pow wows, and putting on horse shows at the Pinto Post.
Sally will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bonnie Gummoe and Cody Gummoe and his wife, Karen; and by her grandchildren, Kristina Pulsifer and her husband Jared, great grandchildren, Avery Mosher, Charlotte Pulsifer, Ryan Pulsifer, and Jarrett Gummoe. Her strength and spirited love of life will remain a treasured part of the lives she touched.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Ocala, Florida.
