Sylvia was a true blessing to our entire family for the past several years as she cared five overnights a week for my 91 year old elderly mom who has advanced dementia. We are so thankful the Lord led her to us for this season of life with my mom, because we needed her so desperately. Night after night, Sylvia would take my mom back and forth from bathroom to bed, then rubbing her scoliosis-ridden back until she went back to sleep again. Sylvia was also a good friend to my 90 year old dad who trusted Sylvia to care for his wife while he slept at night. Sylvia sang hymns with both of my parents in the mornings before she left for the day. 1Cor 13:4-7. "Love is patient and kind; it does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
