

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 15, 1955, to Charles Edward and Mary Ruth (Thornton) Peeples.
Tom grew up in Philadelphia, PA and Willingboro, NJ and graduated from J.F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, NJ.
Tom’s first job was at Holiday Market grocery store in Philadelphia, PA, and Griffin Pipe in Florence, NJ where he worked for over 20 years. He also worked at Trenton Metal and Iron, Trenton, NJ
He met his wife, Janet, in 1995 on AOL.
After marrying his wife, Janet, on January 23, 1999, they lived in several locations including Bridgewater, Franklin Park, Mt. Laurel, Sicklerville, and Pemberton, NJ.
Tom and Janet moved to Summerfield, FL in April of 2017 where Tom retired in 2020.
He was an active member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Belleview, FL.
Tom loved all Philadelphia sports teams – he LOVED the Philadelphia Eagles and was a season ticket holder. He also played horseshoes, regularly went to the gym, and was well known for his dancing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward, his mother, Mary Ruth, and his brother Steven.
He is survived by his sisters Donna (Lawson) and her husband Kendall of Summerfield, FL, Debbie (Faust)and her husband Joseph of Levittown, PA, and his brothers Daniel and his wife Terri of Riverside, NJ, and Scott of Southampton, PA.
He leaves behind two stepsons, David Yunker of Hazlet, NJ and Robert Yunker of Keyport, NJ. He also leaves behind seven nephews, eleven nieces and twenty-four great nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held on Monday, May 18th at 10:00am at St. Theresa Catholic Church located at 11528 US-301 N, Belleview, FL, followed by a Celebration of Life reception at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL.
