

Victor Natale, age 88, of Ocala, FL (formerly of Shirley, NY and Dudley, MA) passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Ocala Regional Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Dominick and Carmella (Marino) Natale.
A 1953 graduate of George Westinghouse Vocational in Brooklyn, NY. He worked in the Photography business for Berkey Photo of Manhattan eventually joining the Air Force and sent to Korea. When he returned, he married his friend and first love, Joan, in November 1955. He moved his family to Shirley, NY, where he owned and operated several businesses in Carpentry, small engine repair and food services. After the death of his wife Joan (Shay) in 1978, he moved to Massachusetts where he worked as an auto mechanic and parts manager for Boston’s Checker Cab when he then met and married Ruth. They moved to Florida in the late 1980’s and opened the former Pegasus restaurant at the Ocala municipal airport until shortly after Ruth’s death in 1992. He was an active member of the Moose club of Ocala and was involved in helping with fundraising and awareness for US service veterans.
After his retirement he kept busy repairing and selling lawn mowers. He loved baseball, his beloved Yankees and photography. In his spare time Victor also loved to play his ukulele and sing old rag-time songs as he did with his brother and uncles growing up in Brooklyn.
Victor is pre-deceased by his wife Joan A. (Shay) Natale of Brooklyn NY and his second wife Ruth E. (Wade) of Worcester, MA.
He is survived by his current wife, Mary (Pellegrini) Natale; He is also survived by his children, Linda Perrotta and her husband Sam Sr. of Savannah, GA, Victoria Kovacs of Ocala FL, Joseph P. Natale of Ocoee FL, Stephen Natale and his wife Lori of Charlton, MA; his grandchildren, Sam Jr., Toni, Michael, Kristine, Christopher, Jarred, Spencer, Joshua, and Robert. He leaves ten great grandchildren, his sister Rose Natale of Ocala, his brother, Dominick Natale and his wife Francis of Tampa, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 19, at 12:00 PM, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 S.E. 17th Street, Ocala, FL 34471.
