Vivian Bennett, wife of the late LeRoy Bennett of Highland, New York, was born in New York City, NY on November 11, 1922 and died on November 8, 2017 in Ocala, Florida. Vivian worked in the data processing group of IBM for 33 years in Poughkeepsie, NY. While at IBM, she served as Senior Vice President of the IBM Quarter Century Club. She also served as President of St. Peter’s School Mothers’ Club in Poughkeepsie, NY while her children attended school there.
Vivian is survived by two sons and a daughter: Lloyd Bennett of San Jose, CA, Gail Bennett Vona (Bob) of DeLand, FL and Kenneth Bennett (Denise) of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are by Forest Lawn Funeral Home of Ocala, FL. No services are planned. A private gather of family and friends will take place in the coming weeks.
