

Wallace Sidney “Sid” Bundy 93 yrs old passed away April 22, 2025 - Sid will be remembered by many for his work ethic, his love for adventure, and all animals. He was an accomplished and well know Horse Farrier/Blacksmith in Kentucky and the State of Florida. Sid shod a variety of horses - he was most famous for shoeing race horses, jumping horses and Thoroughbreds of all kinds.
Sid was born in Youngstown, Ohio January 4, 1934. Graduated High School in Marietta, Ohio. Sid served in the US Navy, received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and certified as a Farrier & Blacksmith. He interned in the State of Kentucky.
Sid was married to Michelle “Mike” - they enjoyed traveling around the World and attending horse shows. Sid loved adventure - he traveled to Antarctica in his 90’s. He also had many hobbies scuba diving, treasure hunting, boating and photography.
Sid is the son of Donald David Bundy of Colerain, Ohio and Tulsa Isabella Prosser Bundy. His brother Donald Gene Bundy was also a farrier & blacksmith and is survived by his niece Linda Dee Cunningham and nephews Brian Cunningham and David Gene Bundy.
Sid was respected and Loved by many - he mentored and taught many farriers throughout his years. Throughout his career he has many long lasting friends in the horse world. He was deeply Loved by his family. His presence on this Earth will be greatly missed.
