Grandpa, 
It's been over a year and I still cannot believe you are not with us. I continue to pray for the healing in our hearts knowing you are in a better place and no longer suffering. I pray you are watching over us Grandpa and know we love and miss you dearly! I love you so much Grandpa and I pray you know my heart!

Dear Dad
It has taken me this long to sit and write for you. The one year anniversary of your passing is quickly approaching. It has been challenging for all that loved you so. I know you continue to be here in spirit. Your presence watching over Mark, me, Mom and the kids. When we play the many songs you enjoyed it keeps your presence strong in our home. Wes was like an uncle to my brother Stephen and me.  Our families grew up very close.  I have great childhood memories of watching our dads play cricket during the early days of the VP Cricket club, listening to the reggae band practice in our basement, and enjoying the trash-talking as they played dominoes all night long.  Their loss is our loss, and everyone's loss.  He will forever be missed!  Our sincerest condolences go out to Sonia and their entire family.

Hi dad, Missing you terribly right now. I will miss the golfing days, laughter, and playing music and of course the white rum we would have together whenever you were in town.. Thank you for the wonderful memories you have given our family. I find comfort in knowing that Sonia & I were by your side as you prepared for your journey to heaven. Knowing Sonia and I were there to comfort you as took your last breathes means the world to me. I find comfort in knowing Sonia with the love and support from family and friends that she was able to for fill your last wishes. Having Jimmy ,Angie, Charmaine , grand kids Paul & Elianna and my wife Shelley's  support through this tough time could have not been any better. The Family time we all had together made our mom your wife so happy.

Sis, I am so sorry that I could not be there with you. Those weeks that I spent with you and Wes wwre so wonderful, I truly can say that you loved each other so much and that Wes is in a better place.  He knew Jesus and Jesus did not want him to suffer long so he took him.  I found this little poem and thought that if he could speak to you this is what he would say.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal".  My heart goes out to you and your entire family. When we spoke the other day about your Grandfather I could see the love and influence he had in your life. Judging from you, he was a good man with much to share. Cherish the memories and know he is in a better place and is waiting for the day you two are reunited. You are in my heart and my thoughts.

I love you Grandpa! You are in every childhood memory of mine. All of our trips to Florida, all of my birthday parties, all of my cousin's birthday parties, going to your house everyday after school, You coming to pick me up whenever I asked. You spoiled me at every moment you can grandpa! I'll never forget you! You hold a huge place in my heart and I love you to no end! I promise you I will take care of the love of your life, grandma, and keep her smiling and make sure she continues to celebrate you and not be sad. We love you Grandpa! Rest in Heaven!
