Ocala- William Paul Plain, 74, passed away on February 13, 2014 at Sylvia’s Hospice House. He was born in Akron, OH to Irving and Margaret Plain and moved to Florida in 1963. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and was known to his friends as “Plain Old Bill”. Bill loved to rebuild old cars, especially Cadillacs, Mazdas, and Volkswagens. He also taught auto mechanics, first in Leesburg then in Ocala and owned William Paul Plain Inc. He will be dearly missed. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
