Born and raised in Manhattan, NY to the late Isaac and Rose Assael, Allan settled in Wall Township where he lived for more than 50 years before moving to Brick Township. Allan loved work, having been self-employed as an insurance broker until his illness 6 years ago. In his spare time, he enjoyed all things cars, including the many car shows he attended. While he had a love for many things, there was nothing more important to him than his family and friends, who he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by the many who knew him throughout his life.
Allan is predeceased by his parents and by his sister Linda Assael.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years Sharon Assael; his loving children Bonnie Loveday, Debbie Malvar, Ian Assael, and Joseph Assael; 7 dear grandchildren; and his brother David Assael.
All services are private to family only under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 Hwy 35 Ocean, NJ.
