Dr. Beth Mona Deutch of Rumson died December 11th, 2014 at Memorial Sloan Kettering, NYC. Beth was born in Baltimore, MD. She and her husband, Larry Rubin, moved to Monmouth County to start their family of three children and to practice medicine.
Beth was a graduate of Brown University and Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Beth completed a fellowship in radiology and breast imaging at the hospital of University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Deutch established Herspace, the area’s only free standing dedicated Breast Imaging Center. With her compassion and skill, she has improved and saved many lives.
She is survived by her husband Larry Rubin, three children; Simon, Noah, and Charlotte Rubin, her father Jacob Deutch, and two sisters; Shelley Deutch and Charisse Litchman and her husband Mark.
A chapel service will be held Sunday at 11am at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Interment will follow at B’nai Isreal Cemetery, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Bloomfieldcooperocean.com
