Bruce Waldman, 88, of Whiting died September 19th, 2014 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills. He was born and raised in Patterson, but raised his family in Totowa and Randolph, NJ, before moving to Whiting a few years ago.
Mr. Waldman served and fought in WWII and earned two bronze stars. He went on to earn his PHD and was a professor and Dean of Education at New Jersey City University. He served on the Board of Education in Randolph, NJ. Mr. Waldman was also a part time antique dealer with his wife Alice.
He was predeceased by his wife Alice in 2000. He is survived by his daughter Amy and her husband Mark, of Neptune, a daughter Stacy Waldman, of Easthampton, MA, a son Gary, of NYC, his brother Ned of Randolph, NJ, two grandchildren, Eric and Rachel, and his cat Babydoll.
A graveside service will be 1pm Sunday September 21st at Beth El Cemetery, Paramus. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean are in charge of arrangements. Bloomfieldcooperocean.com
