Debbie was my best friend in high school and college. She was the original punk rocker. We had endless adventures together roaming around Manhattan exploring. We saw a gazillion concerts (Lou Reed at the Bottom Line and Patti Smith at CBGBs, etc., etc.) Went to Asbury Park looking for Bruce. We danced at every nightclub. Met the craziest and most interesting people. Took the #7 train back to Queens at all hours of the night. Sat in her living room drinking coffee with Loretta. Had Sunday lunch in Chinatown with Kary and Loretta. We sort of misspent our youth but not really. We had fun.

Rest in peace, Debbie and keep on rocking. To paraphrase a Talking Heads song, wherever you are, I hope they play your favorite song, play it all night long.

Xo,
Babs

Deb,
I'll always remember going to the punk rock clubs in NYC during the late 70s. The Mud Club, Max's Kansas City and others. You had a fondness for the glasses at Max's so much that you would put them in that big black bag you always had with you. And of course we helped you with them. You loved your Rock n Roll. Much love and peace.

Debbie - We were friends for over 40 years, years that saw many changes in our lives. But through thick and thin, we were there for each other. You could be a handful but I loved you and will always miss you. We had some fun times! Love always, Mary
