She is survived by her daughter Nannette Tereo and her husband Richard, daughter Barbara Marx and her husband Fredrick, sister Suzann Bobley and her husband Peter, granddaughter Jennifer Marx and her husband Mo Gelber, grandson Jeffrey Marx and his wife Rebecca, and two great-grandsons Dylan and Logan Marx.
She was predeceased by her husband David Stein in 2019 and their son William Stein in 2003.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095. Friends and extended family should arrive at the cemetery office at 10:00am for the 10:30am funeral service. The entombment will follow at 11:00am.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Nannette and Rick Tereo’s Primrose Place Community Room on Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Shiva will also be held at the residence of Barbara and Fred Marx later in the week. The specifics are yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA (www.monmouthcountyspca.org), the Associated Humane Societies of Tinton Falls (www.ahscares.org), or any other charity that benefits animals.
