

Howard J. Maltz, 54, of Ocean Township, died peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2012, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brooklyn, raised in North Brunswick, and eventually moved to the Wayside section of Ocean Township. Howard received and undergraduate degree in International Environmental Science from Rutgers University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Western New England School of Law. After graduation, he joined his father, Leonard and brother, Evan in the family business of S. Rabinowitz Iron Works.
Surviving are his parents, Arlene and Leonard Maltz of Wayside; his brother, Evan and his wife Dawn; his sister, Wendy and her husband Dr. Kenneth Granet; nieces, Rebecca, Melissa, and Julia; and nephew, Ian. Howard was a wonderful Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick. Shiva will be observed at the Maltz residence in Wayside. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's memory can be made to ALS Association, Greater N.Y. Chapter, 42 Broadway, Suite 1724, NY, NY 10004.
