Israel "Izzy" Bercovicz, age 78, of Ocean, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Izzy was born in Romania, raised in Israel, and served in the Israeli Defense. He was a resident and business owner in Ocean Township for the past 45 years.
Israel is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah; his three sons Amir (Vicki), Alon (Lori), and Aviv (Kathryn); his three grandchildren Joseph, Grace, and Julia.
A funeral service for Israel will be held at 9am on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 Highway 35, Ocean, NJ 07712. Following the funeral service will be an interment at Agudath Achim Cemetery, 2540 W Bangs Ave, Neptune City, NJ 07753.
