Born on January 27, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, to Leonard and Shirley Gottlob, Jack grew up with a boundless sense of humor and an appreciation for life’s magic - both literal and figurative.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, gift for storytelling, and his lifelong love for the art of music, photography, and magic.
Jack proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. Yet, of all his accomplishments, none meant more to him than being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Rita, his children Richard, Andrea, Lori, and Gary, their spouses, his cherished grandchildren Samuel, Melanie, Jessica, Shelby, Dana, Jenna, and Colten, and his great granddaughter Kamryn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Shirley, and older brother, Norman.
