Jackie was a Kevlar thread in the fabric of her community and a positive, can-do powerhouse in a petite, smiling package. She was a giver of all she had to give, especially her abundant love for Howie, her family, and her dear friends. I am honored to be one of those friends.

Jackie was a great delight to be with when we were both devotees of physical fitness at the New Woman. Her interests were right on target. Her tastes were impeccable. She was unique in so many ways. She has been missed for a long time.

Meg and Jerry Waye, neighbors and friends, will truly miss Jackie's presence among us. She was an unusually warm person, a great conversationalist, a quick wit and a wonderful friend. Our love goes out to Howard.
