Linda Hope Dlugosz

Linda Dlugosz, 78, passed away on May 13, 2026. Linda was born in New York City on April 11, 1948. She went to school in Brooklyn, Freehold and West Long Branch. After graduation, she enrolled at Monmouth College, where she met her future husband, Edward, to whom she was married for over 55 years. After graduation, she worked as an elementary school teacher and a pre-school teacher in Hazlet and at the JCC in Deal. She was an active mah-jongg player who loved the beach and the company of her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, her two children, David and Lisa, and two grandchildren, Avi and Solomon.

Funeral Services will be held Monday 5/18/26 at 1pm at the Bloomfield Cooper Ocean Chapel. 2130 NJ-35, Ocean Township, NJ 07712. Services will also be live streamed at the link below.

Shiva will be held after the burial on Monday at Paul Weiss' home 506 Deal Rd. Ocean, NJ 07712.

Shiva will continue on Tuesday (1pm-8pm) at Dave and Renee’s home (5/19) for anyone who is interested and can make the trip. 3526 Solly Ave Philadelphia, PA 19136. At 7pm, there will be a Zoom minyan / ma'ariv service for mourners, friends, and members of the Torat-El congregation. At the conclusion of the service, the Zoom will stay on for us to chat and share memories.

On Wednesday evening (5/20) Shiva will be held at 6 pm, David and Renee will be hosting in the Kol Tzedek Sanctuary, with a ma’ariv minyan at 6:30 pm. 5300 Whitby Avenue, Philadelphia 19143.
