

Born on January 29, 1935, in Portland, Maine, Marlene was the daughter of the late Harold Rosenberg and Ruth Abrams. She was the beloved wife of the late David M. Rogers.
Marlene devoted her career to public service, working for many years as an Executive Secretary for Fort Monmouth. Beyond her professional life, she will be remembered for her deep dedication to her family and the genuine kindness she shared with everyone who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Heidi Hayden, and her husband, John, of Cherry Hill; her son, Alex Rogers, and his wife, Dore, of Red Bank; and her three cherished grandchildren, Alec Hayden, Ethan Hayden, and Chase Rogers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, David. Please arrive at the cemetery by 10:45AM as service will begin promptly at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marlene’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
