Marshall Klein, 89, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2014. Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ he retired in Tinton Falls after living in Cranford, Ocean Township and Eatontown, NJ.
Marshall served in Patton’s Army during World War II and graduated from Seton Hall University in 1949. He volunteered tirelessly for several veterans’ organization. Marshall was a State Commander for the Jewish War Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post 346. Marshall was a devoted volunteer for Temple Beth Torah of Ocean Township, the Jewish Nursing Home and the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County. He was also a proud member of the Asbury Park Elks. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family.
Surviving Marshall is his wife of 67 years, Annette, his sister Norma Sherman; his children: Sharon Emmons, Shelley Klein, Jeffrey Klein and his wife Carol; his grandchildren: Aron, Naomi and her husband Craig, Ian and his wife Melissa, Lee, Jesse, Scott, Melissa, Julian, and Adina; and his great-grandchildren: Olivia, Madison, Hailey, Charlotte, Casey, and Bianca.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday November 4, 2014. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Ocean are in charge of arrangements and can be contacted for Shiva information.
