Born in the Bronx, he resided in Parsippany before settling in the Renaissance Community in Manchester in 2002.
Prior to retiring, he was a Chemist for DuPont USA in Sayreville. He later became a teacher for 12 years in Elizabeth.
Martin was a veteran of the US Army, and served our country before being honorably discharged in May of 1964.
Marty loved to garden and take care of his flowers and tomatoes. More than anything else, he loved his family - especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, William in 1994.
Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Janet; a daughter, Caryn Emmons and her husband Lance; a son, Ronald and his wife, Natana; and his grandchildren: Claire and William Emmons, and Aislinn, Joshua, Talia, and Samara Bratt.
