Maurice Kassenoff, 84, of Toms River passed away Monday, April 23rd. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of Toms River, son and daughter-in-law, Laurie, grandson Justin and his wife Ashley. He is also survived by two brothers, Sandy Kassenoff and Doris Roth of Pompano Beach, Fla and Sidney Kassenoff and wife Rozalind of Toms River and many nieces and nephews.
Maurice was Commander of the Jewish War Veterans of Toms River and active in the Ocean County Boy Scouts, receiving the Silver Beaver award. He was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel, Toms River, Shalom Lodge of the Masons and the Ocean County Photography Club.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Congregation B'nai Israel, Toms River. Interment will follow at the Toms River Community of Jewish Farmers Cemetery, Whitty Rd. Shiva will be observed at the Kassenoff residence. Donations in memory of Maurice Kassenoff may be made to Congregation B'nai Israel Beautification Project Fund or the Jewish Federation of Ocean County. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Twp. is in charge of arrangements.
