Mindy Gayle Silberstein, of Shrewsbury, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her son Michael, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Erin, daughter Jodi and her fiancée Bre, and their father Howard. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Eileen Susser, her loving sisters and brothers-in-law Jill and Drew Stake, Penny and Phillip Schuler, Amy and Jeffrey Green, and her devoted brother Bob Susser.
Mindy was an artist. She had an art for motherhood, an art for sisterhood, an art for sport, an art for design, an art for life. Mindy had the unique ability to profoundly uplift those around her. Vibrancy, creativity, and authenticity were Mindy’s hallmarks. Friends, family, and those who know Mindy will remember her for her tremendous energy and infectious passion for life. Mindy joins her hero and father, Daniel Susser, in eternal peace.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Mindy’s life, taking place at The Vogel at Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ on Friday, October 29th at 11am. We respectfully request that all attendees present proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test. In lieu of flowers, we highly encourage donations to be made to The Count Basie Center for the Arts, a not for profit organization, in Mindy’s memory.
Shiva will be observed at the Silberstein home in Shrewsbury, NJ, following the memorial service, through Sunday, October 31st.
In the event of inclement weather, we will provide shuttle service from the parking garage entrance at 24 Wall St. to The Vogel at Count Basie.
