Born in Bayonne and raised in Jersey City, Renea relocated to Toms River many years ago and has split her time between there and Boca Raton for several years. She started her career as a special education teacher before becoming an administrator for the family law office. Renea was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by the many who she knew throughout her life. Above all else, she loved being a grandma to Cameron.
Renea was loving, caring, compassionate, hard-working and was always there for her family and friends. She loved to spend time in warm weather, whether it was in Florida or holidays in Aruba. She was very proud of her Jewish heritage as witnessed through her fighting spirit. Renea enjoyed exercising, reading, playing her online games, going for walks with Rich, catering to the "Boy King" Neil, travelling, and shopping (needing Jaclyn's opinion on all purchases).
Renea is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Richard Braslow; her loving children Jaclyn Braslow and Neil Braslow; her dear grandson Cameron; and her loving sister Helene Haber.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Friday, September 25 at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 Hwy 35 Ocean, NJ. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects to Renea's family beginning at 10am. A private entombment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
