Robert Schulman, 88, of Tinton Falls passed away Saturday, May 18th in his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert served in World War II in the 84th Infantry and was a graduate of New York University. He spent his career in financial services. Robert’s life was enriched by a loving family and a community of friends whose support was a great joy in his life. Robert lived his life with passion and had endless enthusiasm and talent for his poetry, storytelling and Shakespeare and loved performing to share his joy with his friends.
Robert is survived by a loving wife, Betty (Welner) Schulman, 4 children and their spouses: Marjorie Schulman (New York, NY), Lawrence Schulman and Christine Poggianti (Kenilworth, IL), Wanda Schulman and Harold Blinderman (West Hartford, CT) and David and Lynn Schulman (Ashland, MA). Robert is also survived by two special nieces, Jana and Martha Schulman. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Katherine and Caroline Schulman, Danny and Aaron Blinderman and Zachary and Marlee Schulman. Robert was predeceased by his parents: Irving Schulman and Anne (Rudenberg) Schulman Rogovin, and a brother, Jay Schulman.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Sunday, May 26th at Monmouth Reform Temple, 332 Hance Ave, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724.
