Dear Diane and Family: I had only met Sol on the telephone. My late father (Joseph) wanted to connect with relatives during his final year. Sol gave Dad much of his family's history-from Chicago to NY/NJ. It made Dad so happy...
Our new daughter in law, Lyat Salomon Hara of Long Branch NJ informed me of Sol's passing.
We are in NYC monthly to visit our granddaughters. We have connected with Francine Hara Strasser.
Diane, May you and your family be comforted and blessed during these difficult days.

Dear Diane,
We are so sorry to have learned of Sol’s passing. Sol was a caring, loving, generous, thoughtful and adoring husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to so many.

We know this transition may take a while, but you are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many wonderful family members and friends. His love for his family and his many passions and creativity defined him -and we will always revere his remarkable life.

Thinking of you, Doug, Kirsten and their beautiful children during these difficult days with our deepest heartfelt condolences. Sol will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

Love, Marcia and Ken

Sol was a valued part of our neighborhood, whether "supervising" when Bill and TJ were working on a project, or bringing Hebrew National franks to the barbecue. I can see him dancing on our sidewalk with Diane at our first Halloween weenie roast. He had an upbeat attitude, and a way of making you feel special. And he was a good friend, and is missed.
