Suzanne grew up in Colts Neck, New Jersey, and her artistic abilities became apparent at a young age. Two of her best works are a pen and ink drawing of her grandparents' 1920s radio and a wire sculpture representing the brotherhood of man, still displayed in the family home.

Suzanne moved back to New Jersey, and worked for Bank of New York and Prudential. Her love of the seashore inspired her to purchase a home in Point Pleasant Beach, where the family had many fond memories of the beach, boardwalk, and amusements. Suzanne then moved to Colts Neck and Marlboro.
She had a love of dogs, and was the dog mom of Astro, Strider, Sadie, Maxie and Quintcy.
Suzanne is survived by her mother, Peggy Baker; her brother, Wayne Baker and nephew, Matthew; her sister, Jill Austin, along with nephew, Alex and niece, Alyssa.
