Elaine: I know this is a year late, but I just saw Bill’s passing in the SU magazine. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I will always cherish our times on South Beech Street. You were Tom’s and my dearest friends. I lost Tom nine years ago so I understand and share in your loss.
Always, Pat

My brother Bill was the best of us. His humor/wit will be missed by all. There is now an empty space that can never be filled.

Billy, my very close dear friend, I am at a loss for words - not a good sign for an attorney. We spent many years of special and endless joy in Chicago at AAML meetings, and I truly enjoyed visiting him and his family in New Jersey. Billy's great smile with a gleam in his eye, sense of humor, and tireless dancing feet to all hours of the night were his calling card. Billy enjoyed great food, expensive scotch, and fine wine which he shared each year with his Chicago AAML groupies. Kansas and Texas became his adopted states. I miss him, as do all of the Kansas and Texas AAML Fellows that loved him. May he now rest in peace. Jerry Bressel

Bill had a brilliant legal mind, devotion to the law and was a trusted colleague. I always looked forward to having a case with Bill because we could fight for our clients but not with each other. He was funny and witty, and so darn smart.

My condolences to his family, who he spoke to me about with love and pride. He was so happy to be a grandfather.

Uncle Billy was a very special person. He was kind, compassionate, loving, funny, witty, and brightened up any room that he walked into. He will be missed and I will cherish my memories of him.

Bill was a true professional and gentleman. He always had a warm greeting when we saw each other and helped me when I began practicing. I will miss Bill and send my thoughts to his family.
