Kelsel Lewis

Kelsel H. Lewis, 70, of Crany, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Born March 12, 1946 in Buckhannon, WV, to Ruby and R. H. Lewis, he lived most of his life in Crany. Kelsel worked as a heavy equipment operator before retiring and spending time with his sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. He enjoyed talking to friends around town, spending time working in his garden, playing with his grandchildren and watching TV. Kelsel was a member of Lillyhaven Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Henrietta (Tiny) Lewis, three sons: SSG (ret) Talley Lewis and wife, Kim of Jesse, Kelsel Lewis, Jr. and wife, Jackie of Matheny and James Lewis and wife, Rachael of Crany, and six grandchildren: Kristen, Levi, Autumn, Kelsey, Kaleb and Huston, and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern of West Virginia for the wonderful care that they provided to Kelsel.
