Linda Rose

Born June 18, 1950 in Oceana, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred Dyke and Lillian Acord Dyke.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County and attended the First Church of God in Oceana. When Linda wasn’t busy attending classes at Southern West Virginia Community Technical College, her favorite past time was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harris Blankenship and Thomas Dyke and sisters, Charlotte Brown and Connie White.

Survivors include her loving husband, Clarence Rose; a son, Shane Newcomb and wife, Leslie of Maryville, TN; a daughter, Heather Rose of Beckley; a brother, Robert Dyke and wife, Betty of Brier Creek; a sister, Jenny Harvey and husband, Tom of Wharton; grandchildren, Shania Newcomb and Crystal Wickert and husband, Mark; and a great-grandchild, Cylas Wickert.
