Phyllis Jean Davis Hatfield, 78, of Brenton, passed away at Raleigh General Hospital on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Born on September 17, 1937 in Landville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Golden Davis. Phyllis was raised in Coal Mountain and moved to Brenton in 1971. She was a 1955 graduate of Baileysville High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Davis. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Bradley Hatfield of Brenton and Tony Hatfield and wife, Terena of Coal Mountain and four grandchildren, Madison Hatfield, Lindsie Suttles, Haliegh Banther and Gregory Meadows.
