Adalia Santos Hernandez

Adalia Santos Hernandez, 76, of Odessa, TX passed peacefully from this life on May 14, 2016, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

She is now standing at the forefront of heaven’s gate with our Heavenly Father joining her parents, Librado and Julia Santos; loving husband of 57 years, Mariano Hernandez; her beloved son, Mario Hernandez , brothers, Reginaldo Santos and

Ramon Santos; sisters, Hilda Limon, Graciela Capp, and Cora Olivas

Survivors include sons, Thomas Hernandez and wife Sue of Muskegon, Michigan, Charlie Hernandez, and wife Vicky of Austin, Texas, and Raymond Santos of Odessa; daughters, Debbie Mata of Odessa, Dianne Machuca of Euless, Texas, daughter-in-law Frances Hernandez of Odessa; sister Patricia Randolph of Odessa; loving pet, Mojo; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; loving extended families, Cortez and Carrasco; along with numerous, nieces and nephews; and all her loving friends. A loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and homemaker, Adalia focused her foundation of life around her family and friends. She enjoyed the little things and saw her family as the greatest gift God could bless her with. Adalia loved to work on her yard alongside her husband, planting all the beautiful flowers and trees that will forever bloom. Her love and laughter to all those who had the pleasure of sharing her day to day life will forever be remembered. Our family’s hearts will forever be bruised but never broken; we know that the strife of her absence is temporary but it is her legacy of beauty, grace and strength that will live on forever. Rest now sweet angel and be free, one day we will all meet again. Pallbearers will be Anthony Mata, Joshua Valenzuela, Jesse Bersoza, Isaac Garza, Miguel Perez, Leonardo Perez, and Will Randolph.

~The family would like to acknowledge Home Hospice for all the love and care the staff provided for our mother the past several years. Visitation will be held Monday May 16, 2016 from 1pm to 9pm & Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 8am to 9pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10am Wednesday May 18, 2016 at Odessa Bible Church, located at 2110 E.10th St with Pastor, Bob Thayer officiating .Internment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden Section.
