Adam S. “La Mancha” Gonzales Jr., 53, of Odessa, TX, went on to be with our Lord and savior Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Odessa Regional Medical Center, in Odessa, Texas.

Adam was born on March 21st, 1963 in Odessa, Texas to Adam and Francis Montoya Gonzales. Adam was an independent contract welder for over 20 years of his career and had the uncanny ability to weld absolutely anything you placed in front of him. He loved what he did and loved sharing his knowledge with others in the science of metallurgy. He was also a hands on mechanic and in short a Jack of all trades with the “Midas touch.” He loved to stay busy whether it was at home or at someone else’s residence helping repair any and everything that could go wrong in a house or a vehicle. Adam was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys who would watch every single game with an unequivocal passion. There was never a moment that you could catch him wearing anything that didn’t have some type of Dallas Cowboys memorabilia on it. But the most amazing quality that defined the man that was Adam Gonzales, was that no matter how bad a situation could be, he always made it his personal priority to get you through it, get you back on your feet, and make you feel at peace at any hour of the day or night. He knew how to glean laughter out of tribulation.

Adam is survived by beloved family, his loving wife Dora Gonzales of 28 years, his loving mother Francis, three loving sons, Anthony Gonzalez and girlfriend Irma Aldape, Eric Gonzales, Isaac Gonzales and girlfriend Kassandra Payen, one loving daughter, Natalie Gonzales and boyfriend Josh Puente, one loving granddaughter, Destinee Carrasco. He is also survived by four brothers Robert Joe Gonzales Sr and Rita Castillo and his Three sons Robert Gonzales Jr., Timothy Roy Gonzales, and JonTomas Macias, Javier and wife Iris Gonzales, and their children Jeremiah Gonzales, Ilena Carrasco, and Javan Gonzales Jaime Gonzales and wife Gloria Gonzales, Daughters: Jennifer Gonzales, Kristian Gonzales and Jaiden Marsh, Joel Gonzales and wife Joann Gonzales, and their two sons Christopher Joel Gonzales and Matthew Ezekiel Gonzales, , and a plethora of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, In-laws and his fur babies, Ziggy, Fluffy, and Baby Everyone from Odessa, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his Father: Adam Gonzales Sr., Brother: Edward "Eddie" Gonzales and his Niece: Suzette Gonzales

May God Bless you all during this time of sadness. Adam is no longer here physically, but in spirit, he will be here, forever. Listen for him, he will speak to you, to tell you, life goes on. Cry for me a few more tears and then laugh and remember me as who I am and forever will be, Adam. All of you are such a beautiful, close knit family and I pray that our Heavenly Father will ease your pain and He will, day by day.God Bless.
