Adan O. Garcia

He was born May 12, 1929, in Marfa, TX to Albino and Sabina Garcia. He was a retired foreman for Mobile Chemical and Swift Chemical.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elodia Lujan, and Lucia Dominguez, brothers Federico, Domingo and Paz Garcia.

He is survived by his wife Manuela Z. Garcia of Odessa, previously from Pecos, sons Adan Jr Garcia and wife, Maria of Huntsville, TX, Saul Garcia of Odessa, Joel Garcia and wife Martha, of McAllen, TX, and Raul Garcia and wife, Isela of Pecos; daughters Shirley Rivera of Pecos, and Patsy DeAnda and husband, Lorenzo of Odessa; brother Albino Garcia of Pecos, sixteen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Michael Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
