Agnes T. Allen Agnes T. Allen died April 26, 2012 at her residence in Odessa, Texas. She is now at rest in the arms of Jesus after a long battle with cancer. Agnes was born to Hubert and Onell Toalson, January 3, 1936 in Pearsall, Texas. After graduation from Texas A&I university she taught school in Corpus Christi and Odessa, retiring from ECISD in 1993. Agnes was a member of First Baptist Church Odessa for over 40 years. She served on different committees, pianist in Sunday school, sang in the church choir and most notably as leader of Roundtable 2. She enjoyed traveling, reading and crocheting. She married George C. Allen on October 22, 1971. Agnes is survived by her husband, children: Greg and Amy Martin of Odessa, Frances Allen of Odessa, Irene and Buddy Franklin of Cedar Park, TX., Gary Martin of Whitney, TX. and George (Rus) Allen Jr. of Los Angeles, CA. Her sisters Marie and husband Marlin Hierholzer of Pearsall, TX. and Carol and Ed Boehl of Victoria, TX. Grandchildren Braden and Brett Martin of Odessa, Casey, Douglas and Ryan Franklin of Cedar Park, TX., and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church Odessa, Texas with Byron McWilliams officiating. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Baptist Church building fund, 709 N. Lee Odessa, TX. 79761 Family would like to thank Home Hospice for their loving care.
