He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lewis Chandler & Michael Chandler, two sisters Betty Criddle & Rita Adams, He is survived by daughters, Alicia, Elisha, Valerie, Yolonda & son Albert, his brother, Edward Wayne Chandler of Odessa, sisters, Shirley Ann Scantling & husband James of Odessa, JoAnn Mclendon of Florida & Rose Marie Staires & husband Mark of Midland(8) grandchildren and many great grandchildren...Albert was the 3rd of 9 children & was called Bud by his family and friends he was the uncle to 30 nieces & nephews & great uncle too many. Bud came to Texas as a teenager with his large family in the middle of the winter and the scenery couldn't of been any different then what he was use to, he always thought he would return to Mississippi and as a young man he traveled around trying to find a place to belong, but, in the end he decided if his family was in Texas then he would be too. Bud was very close to his 5 sisters and three brothers and loved by his nieces and nephews, there was always some kind of competition going on with so many people around and none were better then the ones between Bud and his younger brother Lewis, they were always trying to outdo the other and it was always fun to watch. Bud was a lifetime Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was always up for a game of cards, horseshoes, pool, whatever involved competition.. Bud was loved and will be missed by many, especially by the ones he spent a lot of time with, the sisters that he taught how to drive a car and even to cook and the brother he taught just about everything, the nieces and nephews that'll always remember the fun uncle who would take them to the store and make sure they got what they wanted before he did, to his children Bud's biggest regret was not spending enough time with and truly getting to know each of you, he sincerely hoped for forgiveness from you, you were loved and in years to come his hope was that you would know that. To his friends over the years he said it was a fun ride so just keep on living, we only get one life, make it a good one...
A memorial service will be held 10 am Friday, March 25th at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Chapel with Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating..
