Alejandro “Alex” Cajica Escontrias, AGE 24, of Odessa, left to be with Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
Alex was born to Ruben and Cecilia on April 21, 1987, in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was an ample role model for his siblings and a supportive son. Alex met his best friend and soul mate, Lauren, in Jr. High and have been sweethearts since. They were blessed with two beautiful and talented children. He was an exceptional runner for OHS and Texas State University and enjoyed playing soccer. Alex was a proud and involved father, always working with them on their soccer skills. Alex was a loving and great supporter of his family. He was warm-hearted and always surrounded with many dear life friends. He had a welcoming personality and played jokes on anyone around. You will be greatly missed Superman; we love you!
Alex is survived by his wife Lauren Garcia, children Nathalia and Izaak, parents Ruben and Cecilia, siblings Kevin, Thania, and Gabriel, all of Odessa and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends of Ojinaga and Odessa.
