Alicia Castillo

Alicia Castillo, 55 of Gardendale, Texas went home with our Lord and Savior on Monday February 27, 2012. She was born on July 28, 1956 in Lamesa, Texas to Frank Castillo Sr and Carmela Castillo. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Alicia married Terry Green in February 1989. She worked in Communications with AT&T for over 20 years, where she met life long friends. Alicia loved the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling with her grand nieces and grand nephews. She had a special place in her heart for each and every one of her nieces, nephews ,grand nieces, grand nephews. She welcomed everyone into her life with open arms and made them part of her family. No one was ever a stranger. Although she had no children the joy of her life was her beloved dog, “Poquita”. Alicia was preceded in death by her mother, sister Socorro Castillo and brother, Frank Jr. She is survived by her husband; Terry Green of Gardendale, father; Frank Castillo Sr of Lamesa, brother Santos Castillo of Odessa, sisters Margaret Orona, Dolores Jimenez both of Andrews, 9 nephews, 5 nieces, 16 grandnephews and 12 grand nieces. Visitation will held on Thursday from 10 am until 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 Pm at Gonzales Funeral Home located at 310 S Main in Lamesa. Mass will celebrated on Friday at 2 pm March 2, 2012 at St Margaret-Mary’s Catholic Church located at 902 S 2nd st in Lamesa with the Reverend Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Castillo, Paul Castillo, David Castillo, Danny Castillo, Bobby Lascano and Justin Lascano.

Ishmeal Hudgins I am oh SO sad! She was such a Dear,Dear FRIEND, I WILL MISS HER. i have been que (ing) her at work (AT&T) with no answer. She was such a Great Sprit to know, and I will Miss Her Dearly. RIP Alica, that old diabetes will not have to hurt you any more. i can remember the long talks that we would have about this illness, we would always try to leave each other with some advice. I Know Alica is walking around Heaven, with no pain.
